About us:
We are an inclusive and vibrant society with over 200 members that provides students with opportunities to socialise, celebrate their achievements and explore career options alongside their fellow historians. Throughout the academic year, we organise and subsidise a variety of events for our members. We aim to foster a sense of community and camaraderie in one of the country’s leading history departments. Our Focus
Write for us! Our publications explore different historical themes each month, ranging from war and peace to gender and race. With the help of our editors, writing for the HistSoc journal is an intellectually stimulating experience. We also host academic talks with leading historians at UCL and beyond throughout the year.
The UCL History Journal
We deliver a wide range of socials in terms 1 and 2, including club nights, black-tie balls, pub crawls, pub quizzes, and sit-down dinners with various cuisines, such as Dim Sum, Korean BBQ, and Teppanyaki.
